WORKSHOPS

As part of the conference, CAADRIA will offer a series of exciting workshops around a range of cutting-edge topics and methodologies. Led by expert instructors from around the world, the workshops are aimed at students, researchers and young professionals interested in extending their knowledge and skills in the field of computational processes in architecture and urbanism. The workshops will be taught online, or in combination with physical infrastructure and equipment located in Hong Kong where possible and relevant.

We are seeking applications from interested parties to teach a workshop. In relation to the theme of the conference, workshops should not focus exclusively on a particular software process, but speculate on the potential applications in the future built environment. There is no remuneration for workshop tutors, but the workshops and outcomes will be featured in the conference, exhibition and publications.

Proposals should consist of a 6-10-page PDF document outlining the conceptual framework, tools and objectives of the workshop, as well as instructors’ CV’s and relevant previous work examples. The workshops will be held in the period of 24 – 28 March 2021, workshops of a duration from 1 to 5 days can be proposed.
